Mock-up of West Perry Vietnam Monument
in October, 2005, prior to the digging of
the footers by students and teachers.
Students made these faux monuments 
from cardboard to properly visualize the sizes.



This is one of the first concept sketches. 
Students went through several revisions before
 the final drawing could be etched in granite.



Gingrich Memorial employees used shims and 
levels to place the heavy stones. Mr. Popchock
later covered the stones to await their
unveiling at the dedication ceremony. 



Gingrich Memorials lifted the stones for
placement on the footers on
May 15, 2006.

veterans and dedicate West Perry's Monument.

the eleven soldiers from Perry County
who died in the Vietnam era.
